Scoring System
The score you earn for playing in a game will be calculated based on the following:
Base Points determined by your finish in a game.
2 player game: 1st Place gets 2 points, and 2nd gets 1
3 player game: 1st Place gets 3 points, 2nd gets 2 points, and 3rd gets 1
4 player game: 1st Place gets 4 points, 2nd gets 3 points, 3rd gets 2 points and 4th gets 1 point...etc
5, 6, 7, player games follow this pattern.
These base points will be multiplied by the number of hours the game was scheduled for.
Scheduled Hour Multiplier
1 hr = base points x 1
2 hrs = base points x 2
3 hrs = base points x 3...
etc
The points each player earns for played game will then be calculated as Base Points x Scheduled Hour Multiplier
Final Score Examples
2 player game lasting 3 hrs = 1st place would get 6 points (2 Base x 3 Multiplier), and 2nd place would get 3 points (1 Base x 3 Multiplier)
4 Player game lasting 2 hrs = 1st place would get 8 points (4 Base x 2 Multiplier), 2nd place would get 6 points (3 Base x 2 Multiplier), 3rd place would get 4 points (2 Base x 2 Multiplier), and 4th place would get 2 points (1 Base x 2 Multiplier)
