Gaming For a Good Cause!
We are a cancer charity that raises money by running an annual board game convention. 100% of our proceeds go DIRECTLY to Aurora Cancer Care.
2027 Gaming Hoopla will be held at the Baird Center in conference rooms 201-203. This venue will allow us to offer you multiple hotel blocks, straight forward parking options, and a variety of food available at any time and budget. With so much growth potential, we are anticipating that the Baird Center will be our home for the foreseeable future!

Gaming Hoopla 2026
We raised $46,435 for Aurora Cancer Care!
Here in our 18th year, we moved next door to the Baird Center, which we hope will be our home for the foreseeable future. By the numbers for this year:
All together, we wrote a check to Aurora Cancer Care for $46,435! This is the largest check we have EVER WROTE - congratulations everyone!
- Badges: coming in strong with new high of 580 badges (2025 = 562 badges)
- VIG Badges: VIG badges sold out in under an hour!
- Silent Auction: 2350 lots, and raised just over $7,000 (2025 = 2395 lots, and raised $7,223)
- Events: 144 judges submitted 599 events (2025 = 148 judges submitted 616 events)
- Library: 309 checked out games, totaling over 480 hours of gaming using library games. The most popular checkout were Santuary, Take Time, and Fate of the Fellowship
- Raffle: We raffled over $8,000 worth in prizes, including another gaming table!
All together, we wrote a check to Aurora Cancer Care for $46,435! This is the largest check we have EVER WROTE - congratulations everyone!
