48 Hour Early Event Sign Up allows our VIG badge holders to reserve seats in scheduled events 24 hours before regular attendees. Looking to get into a really popular game? This is a great way to get a leg up!
VIG badge holders can begin signing up for events Friday, February 7th at NOON. Note that once general admission event sign up begins February 9th, all new events scheduled after that will be accessible to all badge holders immediately after they're scheduled. Don't like long lines? The Exclusive VIG Badge pick-up line allows you to pick up your badge from a separate table (still located near regular badge pick-up) for a quicker pick-up experience.
Do you miss the good old days of Twitter? Get all the Tweets you desire at our Wingspan themed VIG Welcome Party Friday night. Meet your fellow VIGs, play large group games and trivia, and win extra prizes at this exclusive VIG event from 8pm - 10pm. If you're a returning VIG, this will be similar to the VIG Reception of the past, but due to venue restraints we are no longer able to supply snacks and drinks. The good news is that the event will take place on the lower level in the Lakeshore Ballroom right next to the hotel bar

2025 VIG Hoopla Swag will feature a bag in a bag in a bag (filled with things in little bags). Gamers will be handed a screen printed VIG reusable shopping bag. Inside that bag, among other small goodies, attendees will find a convertible Crossbody / Waist bag to carry all their convention necessities in VIG style. Inside that bag will be a Gaming Hoopla Boardgame Emergency Kit.
Much like that disappointing cookie tin at your Grandma's house, this emergency kit contains a little bit of a bunch of things to help you in your time of need. You'll find extra poly dice and D6's, replacement meeples/cubes/chits, dry erase dice/cards/standees, a small notebook, and multiple writing utensils. All of that is conveniently packed in a large token draw bag. Also included are instructions for mini games that can be played using only the stuff in this kit - to help in the worst emergency of all - being stuck waiting without a game to play! Can't fit enough games into your schedule? Play an extra VIG Meta Game while you game, eat, peruse the Auction, or even between stalls in the bathroom*. This On Tour inspired game will have you interacting with other VIGs to combine colors, numbers, and a little bit of luck to create the highest scoring path on your board. With several paths to victory, multiple prizes will be rewarded. Detailed instructions and everything needed to play will be supplied with your welcome bag.
