Spiel-a-thon: a fundraising event for The Spiel Foundation
The
Spiel-a-thon is a fundraising event for The Spiel Foundation, a
non-profit organization dedicated to donating quality board and card
games to children’s hospitals and senior citizen’s centers. Each year,
The Foundation assembles bundles of five games and donates these bundles
to organizations that fit our mandate, bringing a few hours of
enjoyment to kids and seniors in need, five games at a time.
Since this is a fundraiser, we really would love to fill up all the teams with as many people as possible. We'll raise as much as $800 (80 people x $10) if we can max out every team. The more money we raise, the more games we can give to kids and seniors. Come join us! Have fun, play a game and support a great cause!

- The event itself is a fun-filled team trivia game show. The questions are general trivia with a few questions related to games and geek culture thrown into the mix.
- We have room for 16 teams to compete in the event.
- Up to five players may compete on a single team (minimum of 2 persons per team).
- Cost of entry is $10 per person or $50 for a whole team.
- We'll collect your money at the door on the day of the event.
- Teams will play for roughly 30 minutes.
- If your team wins in the first round, you'll return for the final round and compete for prizes.
